After spending the last few months working behind the scenes to catapult his own Freak Trix artists into the stratosphere, label supremo, Born Freak, returns to tear up dance floors across the globe this summer with his own show stopping monster, ‘When I’m Down’.

The Aug 25th release is the latest in a long line of Progressive masterpieces, cumulating in his most recent offering, MotherLand, which has seen his support stretch across all corners of the industry, with Eddie Halliwell joining a distinguished fan base that already includes Benny Benassi, Markus Schulz and Chris Lake to name but a few.

The release also features an outstanding remix from one of the label’s rising starts, Rafii, whose Electro reworking of the original is a typically unremorseful cataclysm of driving bass – a style that has already been endorsed by luminaries by Steve Aoki, LA Riots, Thomas Gold and many others. His latest remix of Born Freak – MotherLand, was a great success to date at Freak Trix. This remix has manage to take place at #16 on the Beatport Dubstep Chart. His incredible rise was rubber stamped by Steve Aoki who featured his latest track, ‘We Do It Big’ on Dim Mak Records, on the internationally revered, Aoki’s House 012 Podcast.
